As the visionary behind our vibrant rebranding journey, I am thrilled to share how I transformed a beloved Mexican eatery into a culinary haven celebrated for their best tacos in the Bay Area.

During Tacos El Ultimo Baile's rebranding, I played a key role in developing the brand from start to finish. My responsibilities included:

  1. Designing a unique logo that blends Mexican elements with Oakland's spirit.

  2. Creating a vibrant color scheme that reflects Mexican culture.

  3. Choosing fonts that are readable and evoke tradition and modernity.

  4. Capturing visually stunning material of our chefs and kitchen.

  5. Crafting engaging content that narrates our culinary journey.

  6. Develop social media posts that showcase our delicious offerings and create an online community.

Opportunity: 

I wanted to take the chance to rebrand Tacos El Ultimo Baile. My aim was not just to give our image a new look, but to redefine the culinary experience for our customers. My goal was to create a brand that not only honors the rich Mexican tradition but also celebrates the diversity and energy of Oakland. My ultimate objective was to bring people together through their love of exceptional food.

The Process: 

My journey began with a deep dive into Mexican culinary traditions and Oakland's cultural tapestry. I conducted extensive research, held creative brainstorming sessions, and carefully crafted every aspect of the rebranding process.

The approach consisted of the following steps:

1. Inspiration Gathering: Immersed in the heart of Mexican flavors and traditions, drawing inspiration from local markets, street art, and the lively spirit of Oakland.

2. Conceptualization: Merged traditional Mexican elements with Oakland's eclectic vibes to create a unique and authentic brand narrative.

3. Design Iterations: Through a series of design iterations, refined the logo, color palette, and overall aesthetic to achieve a perfect blend that resonates with our target audience.

4. Photography & Videography: Captured the essence of our culinary artistry through visually stunning photography and videography, from the sizzling grill to the meticulous assembly of each taco.

5. Content Development: Crafted a narrative that tells the story of our culinary journey and invites our patrons to become part of the Tacos El Ultimo Baile family.
